Radio Aspire

The Radio Aspire course was developed out of our initiatives within the local radio industry and consultations with the local LSC in Birmingham.

The course was focussed on the development of practical skills in radio. Learners came up with programme concepts and "pitched" them to a group, before refining them further and producing actual programmes. We also covered important issues such as career development and analysis of the radio industry.

Radio Aspire ran from 2006 to 2008 and our learners achieved the OCR Level 2 National Certificate in Media. More information about the Certificate can be found at this location on the OCR website.
